Festa della Donna, or International Women’s Day, commemorates the women who were killed in the 1911 Triangle Shirt Waist Factory Fire in New York and recognizes the achievements of women past and present.

“International Women’s Day is widely celebrated in Italy and many other countries around the world as a ‘Girl’s Night Out’ where we honor women and support our community,” says A16 co-owner/ wine director Shelley Lindgren. “We have some very talented and amazing women sharing their gifts with us this year.”

Attendees will enjoy a special selection of dishes such as Rosetta and Maria Costantino’s Polpette di Ricotta and Laura Brunelli’s Tortelli di Bieta. The restaurant’s normal a la carte menu will also be available. Lindgren will be present on Sunday to showcase a selection of California and Italian wines by the evening’s featured winemakers.
