It\u2019s Day 11 of Santa Cruz Restaurant Examiner\/Santa Cruz Foodie\u2019s \u201c12 Days of Christmas Giveaway.\u201d Today\u2019s prize has been donated by Hula\u2019s Island Grill & Tiki Room<\/a> in downtown Santa Cruz \u2013 it\u2019s a gift certificate for lunch or dinner for two! See below for how to enter.<\/p>\n

Hula\u2019s is closing for some of the upcoming holiday season. The restaurant will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year\u2019s Day. However, it will be open on New Year\u2019s Eve serving its regular menu. Plus, there are two drink specials that night: $3 champagne and $3 mimosas.<\/p>\n

Selections at Hula\u2019s include Hawaiian fusion dishes and other choices such as spicy edamame, fish tacos, slow roasted pulled pork, jungle tofu, wasabi ahi, macadamia-encrusted mahi mahi, a variety of burgers (including vegetarian) and sweet potato fries. Hula\u2019s also offers a tiki bar with tropical drink specialties. Also of note: Hula\u2019s participates in the Monterey Bay Aquarium\u2019s Seafood Watch Program.<\/p>\n
