The theme is \u201cWe love veggies! We love our Earth!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The event is Saturday, April 20 from 10:30 a.m. \u2013 noon at Charlie Hong Kong. Kids ages 4-11 are invited; adults are invited only if they are accompanied by a child. The party is a benefit for UCSC-based Life Lab, which has worked for 30 years to teach children and educators how to care for themselves, each other, and the world through farm- and garden-based educational programs.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifelab.org\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.lifelab.org\/\">Life Lab<\/a> will provide fun activities and there will be face painters, music, and \u201ckid-sized tastes\u201d of food from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.charliehongkong.com\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.charliehongkong.com\/\">Charlie Hong Kong<\/a>. There will also be \u201croaming veggies\u201d for photo opportunities (!). Tickets are $8 and required for admittance to the festival.
