The restaurant will open at 9am and, according to co-owner Zach Davis, \u201cfeature a menu of seasonally inspired bunch favorites including house baked pastries and breads.\u201d Choices include savory bread pudding with broccoli, Gruy\u00e8re, hollandaise and a poached egg; see photo above. Can&#8217;t wait to try the newest creations from Chef Carlo Espinas!<\/p>\n<p>And there&#8217;s more: To celebrate the new brunch menu, this weekend Assembly is featuring guest Verve Coffee Roasters baristas crafting complimentary Verve espresso drinks for diners.<br \/>\n1108 Pacific Ave., Santa Cruz, http:\/\/assembleforfood.com<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hop N&#8217; Barley Fest<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Also on June 28, it\u2019s the 5th annual Hop N\u2019 Barley beer and bbq festival. Most events are on Saturday at Sky Park in Scotts Valley, but this year the festival has expanded from one day to two. There are approximately 60 breweries participating, and there will be live music. Saturday is the main event with beer and barbecue, with gates opening at 10 a.m. and beer starting at noon. The gates close at 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, there is a morning disc golf tournament at DeLaveaga and an afternoon craft and home brew competition.
