Exciting news: I was at H&amp;H\u2019s retail shop yesterday\nbuying fresh black cod, and they reminded me that <strong>commercial salmon season starts May 1<\/strong>, so they will be stocking\nsalmon starting that day! I was first a customer of both H&amp;H and\nOcean2Table several years ago, and I highly recommend both of them (see Seafood\nsection). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the several items in this\narticle that are new since last time: <strong>Dharma\u2019s<\/strong>\nand <strong>Caf\u00e9 Cruz<\/strong> opened back up on\nApril 24\u2014Caf\u00e9 Cruz is doing a few groceries too\u2014and <strong>Vim<\/strong> is re-opening April 29 (see Restaurants section). New\nrestaurants to this list include <strong>Mozaic,\nSaturn Cafe<\/strong> and <strong>Toya Sushi<\/strong> (see\nRestaurants). There is news on a benefit beer release from <strong>Humble Sea<\/strong>, and I included info on these five drink vendors for the\nfirst time: <strong>Java Junction<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Santa Cruz Coffee Roasting Co<\/strong>. (see\nRestaurants) <strong>East Cliff Brewing Co.<\/strong> and\n<strong>Shanty Shack Brewing<\/strong> (see Breweries),\nand <strong>Bottle Jack Winery<\/strong> (see Wine). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sad news: long-standing restaurant <strong>Gilda\u2019s<\/strong> on the Santa Cruz Wharf, run by\nthe Stagnaro Family, has decided to permanently close. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s try to support many local\nbusinesses so they can survive&#8230;and with this list, please understand there <em>will<\/em> be some mistakes as things are\nconstantly changing.
