Some of the restaurant\u2019s most popular dishes include <strong>bacon-wrapped prawns<\/strong>, baked brie, and clam chowder (in the menu\u2019s appetizer section) and entrees like <strong>\u2018Pacific Rim\u2019 salmon<\/strong> (featured in Bon Appetit magazine) and slow-roasted Angus prime rib. Vegetarians enjoy dishes such as the <strong>soba noodle medley with tofu and shiitakes<\/strong> or black truffle gnocchi. Favorite desserts include a famous \u201c<strong>Chocolate Meltdown<\/strong>\u201d (molten cake served with vanilla bean ice cream). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rock Room Bar &amp; Lounge features a few options from the main dining room menu plus sandwiches and burgers and <strong>specialty wood-fired pizzas<\/strong>. Shadowbrook also has <strong>one of the best kids\u2019 menus in town<\/strong>, in my humble opinion. Lots of variety for diners 12 and under!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many people enjoy dining at Shadowbrook all year long, and during the holidays. They are already fully booked for \u201cdining room seating\u201d on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but they accept walk-ins for the Rock Room and for patio seating. For <strong>New Year\u2019s Eve and New Year\u2019s Day<\/strong>, some reservations are still available.
