In addition, there will be live music, a \u201ckids\u2019 kale kingdom,\u201d and lots of food and refreshments including a beer garden. <\/p>\n<p>There will also be two contests: one for \u201cbest bunch of kale\u201d and one for \u201cbest kale recipe\u201d (top recipes will be featured in HGP\u2019s upcoming cookbook).<\/p>\n<p>For more information including directions to the event, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.homelessgardenproject.org\/kalefest\/#events\">click here<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1990, HGP offers many programs \u2013 some of which take place in a 2.5-acre organic farm. The organization also operates an organic CSA (Community Supported Agriculture program) from May-October.
