If you want to dine in the Santa Cruz or San Jose area, here are a few to consider for November 22, 2012. I\u2019ll be publishing more options in the next few days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Santa Cruz Restaurants<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bittersweetbistro.com\"><strong>Bittersweet Bistro <\/strong><\/a>will have a Thanksgiving buffet. Served from 12:30 &#8211; 6 p.m., the price is $49.95, (Adults) $22 (Kids 6-12), or $7 (Kids 5 and Under). Parties that are seated right at 12:30pm receive a 5% discount. The menu includes Roasted Traditional Free Range Turkey with Pan Gravy, Slow Roasted Prime Rib with Au Jus and Horseradish cr\u00e8me fra\u00eeche, Teriyaki Salmon, Classic Glazed Corralitos Ham, Baked Candied Yams, Persimmon Waldorf Salad, Classic Caesar Salad, Tossed Asian Salad, Maple Roasted Butternut Squash Soup, and a special kids\u2019 buffet table. Brunch menu selections are available from 8 a.m. \u2013 2 p.m., regular dinner menu selections are available from 2:30 p.m. \u2013 8 p.m. (including new dishes such as BLT Wedge Salad), and a traditional turkey dinner will be served from 12 p.m. onward.<\/p>\n<p>1102 Pacific Ave., Santa Cruz (831) 420-0135<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.casablanca-santacruz.com\/\"><strong>Casablanca Inn &amp; Bistro <\/strong><\/a>is serving a prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner; the cost is $40 for adults and $12 for those 12 and under. It\u2019s available from 2 \u2013 8 p.m. and comes with a choice of appetizer, entr\u00e9e, two sides, and dessert. Entr\u00e9e choices are roast turkey, prime rib, or \u2013 for the kids &#8212; macaroni &amp; cheese or butter macaroni. Side choices include corn bread dressing, crispy brussels sprouts, and smashed potatoes.<\/p>\n<p>101 Main, Santa Cruz (831) 426-9063<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"www.chaminade.com \"><strong>Chaminade<\/strong><\/a> is serving Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 6 p.m. The cost is $47.95 for adults, $17.95 for kids 6-12, and free for kids under 6. Selections include brined whole roast Tom turkey, stuffed roast lamb leg, prime rib au jus, butternut squash ravioli, house-smoked pork loin, and a large seafood display with dishes such as teriyaki salmon and green lip mussels with Thai vinaigrette. Salads include baby spinach with cranberry balsamic, candied pecans, and gorgonzola. The kids\u2019 buffet has macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets and curly fries, and pasta with butter and Parmesan cheese.<\/p>\n<p>One Chaminade Lane, (831) 475-5600<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thehotelparadox.com\/dining.aspx\"><strong>Solaire<\/strong><\/a> has a four-course Thanksgiving feast from 11 a.m. \u2013 8 p.m. for $38 (adults) and $19 (kids 3-12). The restaurant is also offering a \u201cday after\u201d to-go turkey leftovers box for $15. Other selections include butternut squash soup ($5) and pumpkin pie ($4).<\/p>\n<p>611 Ocean (inside Hotel Paradox), (831) 425-7100<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>San Jose Restaurants<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.maggianos.com\/EN\/San-Jose_San-Jose_CA\/Pages\/LocationLanding.aspx\"><strong>Maggiano\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> on Santana Row is doing a prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner; it\u2019s $36.95 for adults and kids 5-12 are $17.95. The family-style dinner includes bruschetta, salad, entr\u00e9e (choices include roast turkey with focaccia sausage stuffing or parmesan-crusted tilapia), side dishes, and pasta (choices include four cheese ravioli and gnocchi). Dessert is also included; selections include pumpkin praline cheesecake and tiramisu.
