Santa Cruz restaurant Johnny’s Harborside is offering special dishes for both brunch (10am-2:30pm) and dinner (2:30-9pm) in addition to its regular menu. Mother’s Day brunch specials include crab, caramelized onion and asparagus omelet with choice of roasted potatoes, hash browns, fruit, or polenta ($14), vegetarian quiche ($11), and crepes filled with mixed berries and cream cheese ($9). Second course choices include Lobster Ravioli with corn nage and roasted cherry tomatoes. Desserts include Sweet Cream Panna Cotta with strawberry and rhubarb compote.
